JOB VACANCY (JOB TITLE : PROJECT OFFICER)

Project Title: Intermittent Screening and Treatment or Intermittent Prevention Therapy for control of malaria in pregnancy in Indonesia (STOPMIP)

The position offer opportunities for motivated candidates to join an international collaborative project between the Eijkman Institute for Molecular Biology and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK.
The Eijkman Institute is a research institute under the auspices of the Minister for Research and Technology, conducting strategic fundamental research in medical molecular biology and biotechnology with emphasis in infectious diseases and human genetics and genome diversity. The Eijkman Institute is a prestigious well established internationally acclaimed research institute advancing and contributing to infectious and non-infectious disease based scientific research. Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is an international center of excellence with up-to-date access and expertise in tropical infectious diseases making them a world leader in their field.

Basic computer knowledge, time management and organizational skills, and ability to work both collaboratively and independently across a multi-disciplinary team are essential. Good command of written and spoken English is an additional merit for the role for part-timer as:

                                                    “Project Officer”

Purpose: The Project Officer is responsible for data entry and maintaining Trial Master File (TMF) under the directions of the STOPMIP Data Manager. He/she will be detailed oriented and maintain high level of accuracy in data handling and TMF.
 
Project based part time for 6 months and extendable if needed .

Essential:
Currently enrolled in university or higher degree (Computer Science, Biotechnology, Engineering)
Basic Computer knowledge and skills
Must be able to work with minimum supervision
He/she is open to learn the new skills related to project work
Ability to work in a team
Working time: 16 hours per week
 
Role and Responsibilities:
1.      Perform Case Report Forms (CRFs) data entry and maintain  the records after training
2.      Maintain TMF confidentiality in accordance with the policies of the organization and as permitted by law
3.      Take responsibility to prepare for Contract Research Organization (CRO) visit
4.      Perform other related duties incidental to work
