Job Vacancy - Energy Sector Consultant/Research Assistant

Castlerock Consulting seeks a junior consultant/research assistant to support broad-ranging policy analyses & implementation support for team assignments in the Indonesian energy sector. The position will entail internal analytical support, preparation of reports & presentations, technical translation, as well as external activities for data acquisition, counterpart communications/engagement, and event organization. This is a career track position leading to greater responsibilities & potential assignments outside of Indonesia.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

•          Bachelor's degree in a related discipline;

•          At least 3 years relevant work experience & contacts in Indonesia’s energy sector;

•          Excellent reading, writing and speaking ability in both Bahasa Indonesia and English;

•          Quantitative skills in statistical analysis, financial modelling, or other relevant quantitative tools

•          Fully proficient in database, spreadsheet, presentation and word processing programs.

Preferred qualifications:

•          An advanced degree in a related discipline;

•          Previous experience working and/or studying outside of Indonesia.
